Concrete driveway pouring helpful hints to help you with your concrete driveway project. Water down the driveway grade a day before pouring concrete and prior to pouring, preventing water from being absorbed from the concrete mixture. Have a designated area for the Ready-mix truck to wash out after pouring out driveway, or wheelbarrow. Have enough help with you leveling the concrete as your pouring. Pour 1/3 of the driveway, Stop, Rod off. Then repeat this process until done. Start Tamping. While Tamping, your helpers can use a Magnesium float to level the edges to existing concrete and (Bullfloat after Bleeding minimizes.) Not Bleeding, Bullfloat immediately .
